Customers have 30 days from the time the order is received to return stock (non-custom) items with proof of purchase. Proof of purchase includes sales invoice, receipt or packing slip. Returned stock items have a restocking fee of 15% of the item's purchase price. Please contact us for instructions and additional information regarding the return policy.
Alaska Tent & Tarp strives to be as accurate as possible in our content and pricing. In the event a product is listed with an error in pricing or incorrect content, Alaska Tent & Tarp has the right to refuse or cancel any order whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment has been received. In the event that payment has already been processed and an order is cancelled due to the error in pricing or content, Alaska Tent & Tarp will issue a refund to the customer in the full amount of the sale.
All items manufactured by Alaska Tent & Tarp are covered by a limited warranty that includes manufacturing defects. Damage due to a natural breakdown of materials that inevitably occurs with extended use, including UV (ultra violet) light damage and worn out zippers, will not be covered under the warranty. Alaska Tent & Tarp will not be responsible for damages or defects caused by accidents, inappropriate use, alterations, animal attack, storm damage, lack of care or normal wear and tear. If the repair is not covered under the warranty, we may be able to provide the necessary repair service for a reasonable charge, plus shipping and handling. Items that are sent back for repair must be clean and dry. We reserve the right to return dirty items without completing the repair work. Please send the product that needs repair to us, postage prepaid, along with a description of the work that needs to be done and your contact information. Contact us prior to sending back items for repair/replacement.

We manufacture our products in our Alaska store locations. Since our products are hand-made at our shop, we do not carry a large quantity in our inventory. We strive to keep the products that are available online in stock, but we are not always able to predict sales levels for our products. Therefore, some orders may require production times of around two weeks before we can ship the item(s). Once the item is manufactured, it will be shipped to the customer using the best available method, generally United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail or Fed Ex.
Orders processed through our online shopping cart cannot be shipped to a PO Box. In order to ship to a PO Box, please contact our store. Since the shipping of our products originates in Alaska, shipping times may be longer than normal. On average, items should arrive to the shipping location within two weeks of shipment. All items shipped using USPS Priority Mail will also have insurance and a delivery confirmation included in the shipping rate. The inclusion of the insurance and delivery confirmation is for the protection of the customer. Items shipped using Fed Ex will receive the regular insurance services provided for all FedEx shipments. USPS Priority Mail does not include the ability to track shipments, whereas Fed Ex provides this service as part of its standard features.
Due to the extensive paperwork and information necessary for shipping to foreign countries, we do not ship to international addresses, other than Canada, through our website. Please contact our store to place an order and arrange for shipping your purchase internationally.

Shipping Rates: Shipping rates are based on the average charge per pound for shipments to various parts of the United States and Canada. We are unable to process orders shipped to a PO Box through our online shopping cart. If you would like to ship an order to a PO Box, please contact our store. We are happy to accommodate your shipping needs. Once an order is received, we will determine the best method of shipment to the shipping address. Each shipment contains a handling fee of $10.00. Shipments through USPS Priority Mail will include a charge for insurance and delivery confirmation.
